Is CBSE or ICSE better if we may move cities in a few years?

We are a transferable-job family. My daughter is in Class 3 now. I keep hearing ICSE is stronger for English but harder to switch out of. What actually matters when a child changes schools mid-year?

Mobility is exactly the case where the board choice matters most. The short version: CBSE is the least painful board to carry across states, because its syllabus is followed nationally and mid-year transfers land on familiar chapters. ICSE has real strengths in English and project work, but fewer schools in smaller cities, so a transfer can mean switching board as well as school.
