Short version: Vidyavo is free, nobody can buy their way up the rankings, and you are responsible for what you post. The rest is detail.

What Vidyavo costs

Nothing, for everyone. Teachers apply to jobs and answer questions free. Parents contact tutors free. Schools claim their page, post vacancies and contact applicants free. There are no credits, subscriptions or per-enquiry charges anywhere, and we do not intend to introduce them for these users. We are funded by advertising from education companies.

Ranking cannot be bought

No school, tutor or coaching centre can pay to rank higher, appear first, or be labelled verified. Search results are ordered by how well they match and by earned signals only. Advertisements are always labelled “Sponsored” and are never mixed into results.

Your account

• One person, one account. Give accurate information — schools and parents rely on it.
• Verify your email before posting; this is our main defence against spam.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us if it is compromised.
• Children under 18 must be under a parent or guardian's account, never their own.

What you post

You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to display it on Vidyavo. Post only what is true and yours to share. Not allowed:

• Impersonating a school, teacher or person
• Reviews about a school or tutor you have had no dealings with
• Contact details of children, or personal details of anyone who has not consented
• Abuse, harassment, hate speech or sexual content
• Advertising disguised as a question, answer or review

Anyone can report content. We remove what breaks these rules and may suspend repeat offenders.

Collecting data from Vidyavo

You may not scrape the site, harvest contact details, or use automated tools to extract listings. Contact details are released only through the consent flow, one request at a time, and both the request and the release are logged. Accounts that attempt bulk extraction are closed.

School pages

School pages are compiled from public information and contain facts only. They exist whether or not the school has an account. Any school can claim its page free, correct it, or ask for it to be removed — see Contact.

What we do not promise

We work to keep information accurate, but we compile much of it from third-party sources and cannot guarantee every detail. Verify anything important — fees, admissions, salaries, a person's qualifications — directly with the school or teacher before acting on it. Vidyavo is not a party to any arrangement you make with a school, teacher or coaching centre, does not handle any money between you, and is not responsible for the outcome.

Ending things

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why unless doing so would help someone evade the rules.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
